Chloe Everton

Hi, I’m Chloe also know as Evo (nickname originates from my last name). I own 2 Thoroughbreds both previously been racehorses. I also own a big loveable golden retriever called Winston who follows me around like a bad smell! I’ve been professionally working with horses since I was 16, now 26 although have been riding for fun since I was roughly 5 years old. I attended Hartpury university for 4 years studying equine performance and rehabilitation. I’m also planning on doing my BHS teaching qualifications as a few people have inquired recently about private lessons. My passion is racehorses which I has been my career for the last 6 years. There is nothing I haven’t done, I have studied along side an Olympic event rider which was absolutely incredible! I got to travel up and down the country and even internationally with the horses in my care. I’ve had the pleasure of working with magnificent dressage stallions and on the other side of things, I deliver daily top level care to mares in foal or with foals at foot. During my time with racehorses I have regularly rode work for trainers and played an important part in backing the next generation of racehorses. I am very confident in turning horses out to an extremely high standard and if I’m being completely honest, I absolutely adore getting horses ready for competition/ shows and the races. Picked up a few tricks to get your horse squeaky clean! I have experience handling all horses from 17.2 warmblood dressage divers to little sweet happy hackers and hormonal mares. There is nothing that fazes me. From a young age I knew I was destined to work with horses, as much as I’m sure my parents thought it was a phase and I’d grow up to be a brain surgeon. There was no telling me, I’m hard working, dedicated and most importantly I do my job simply because I love what I do!
