Ellie Mowat

I have gained my experience working in a variety of equestrian environments including professional racing yards, riding schools, pony club yards, and private sole charge roles. This has given me a well-rounded skill set and the ability to adapt to different types of yards and horses. I have worked with everything from young and inexperienced horses to fit racehorses and competition horses, and I am confident in all day-to-day yard duties including feeding, turnout, mucking out, grooming, trimming up, clipping, lunging, and general yard organisation. I have also supported lessons, worked with children, and assisted in busy riding school environments. In my more recent roles, I have taken on increased responsibility, including sole charge positions and helping with the organisation and running of the yard. I am used to working to a high standard, taking pride in horse care and presentation, and being reliable and consistent in my work. I am comfortable working independently or as part of a team and always aim to contribute positively to the yard environment.
