Experienced horsewoman with decades of hands on experience owning and managing horses, including young stock and rehabilitation cases within a rehab yard setting. Confident in all aspects of horse care, handling and yard management, with a good standard of ridden work (having trained under an international show-jumper and a dressage rider). Extensive experience managing private land, properties and livery environments, including day to day operations, maintenance and organisation. Reliable, capable and comfortable working independently to a high standard. Registered nurse with a Nursing degree and MSc in Palliative Care, bringing a calm, responsible and safety focused approach. Particularly valuable in equine welfare and high pressure situations. Also hold teaching qualifications and currently studying for a degree in Psychology. Highly experienced in managing busy households, including raising three children and caring for dogs with a practical, organised and adaptable mindset. Particularly well suited to supporting families or competitive riders who need someone capable of covering all aspects of daily life, from horses and yard duties to children and home. Full UK driving licence. Experienced driving to 7.5t. Hardworking, trustworthy and used to taking full responsibility for animals, property and people. Available for freelance equine, yard, property or house sitting roles. Flexible and dependable, and able to offer a level of support beyond that of a traditional groom.
