My day job is in Marketing, with over 20 years experience, encompassing strategy, planning, delivery, reporting and team management and development. However, I have been a horse lover all my life and I am pivoting in that direction and my evenings and weekends are spent coaching and providing yard / groom services. I'm studying and training to underpin my practical experience. In 2024 I formally gained the BHS Stage 1 in Complete Horsemanship and also the Level 1 Certificate in Equestrian Coaching. As of August 2025 I have BHS Stage 2 in Ride and Care (with Lunge booked) and I'm halfway through the training for the Level 2 Certificate in Equestrian Coaching, due to complete in November 2025. I am fully insured, have enhanced DBS clearance, and full Safeguarding and First Aid training.
