Olivia Guntrip

I have been riding since the age of 2 and am now 25, with experience across a wide range of horses and ponies. I competed to a high level in junior BSJA, represented the Scottish Inter Academy Showjumping Team for 3 consecutive years, and competed at the British National Championships for 4 years running. I have also competed at major shows including Scope, Welsh Home Pony and Scottish Home Pony. Alongside my competitive background, I have freelance experience working on a variety of yards carrying out general yard duties including turnout, bringing in, mucking out, brushing, bathing, lunging, tacking up and overall horse care. I also have experience hacking young horses and ponies, schooling, and exercising horses of different types and temperaments. I have also worked away with Globe Trotters in Pitlochry, riding groups of horses out on the moors and working with larger group rides in all weather conditions. I currently still own and ride my own ponies and have a genuine passion for horses and high standards of care. Reliable, confident and hardworking, and happy to help with both riding and yard duties.
