Brittany Carrington

I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, especially dogs and horses, and they’ve always been a huge part of who I am. I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have learned from a variety of different dog trainers over the years, picking up different techniques and approaches. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m confident handling a range of temperaments while always being patient, calm and kind. With horses, I’ve had them on and off throughout my life. I studied Horse Care at Bicton College, although unfortunately I wasn’t able to complete the course due to personal reasons. After that, I took a five-year break from riding, but I’m now back in the horse world and loan/own the horses I currently have. Getting back into horses has reminded me just how much I love it, and I’m continuing to build my knowledge as I go. I’m confident around horses on the ground and under saddle, but I’m also very aware that every horse is different and always willing to learn new methods and ways of working. I’m happy to take on a variety of work and pride myself on being reliable, hardworking and open-minded. I’m passionate about animal care and always aim to put the welfare of the horse or dog first.
