Emily Troy

Hi, my name is Emily. My passion is horses , and I love teaching all ages and abilities to explore their riding and reach their goals, in a kind and positive way . I have owned my own horse Romeo now for 20 years , he is now 23 and he's my best friend. I have been riding for 32 years. I have a 9 year old daughter who loves our horse but hasn't got the same interest as me just yet anyway, I haven't pushed it because i think if she becomes more interested I want it to be for the right reasons . I have a husband who is very tolerant of me spending time and money on my boy. I have my stage 1 and 2 riding , nvq level 2 in care. I have taught all ages and abilities in the past at a riding school where I gained my experience. I have brought my own horse on from a 3year old as a good, safe all rounder . I have worked on private yards, livery yards, dressage and show jumping yards in the past and ridden all types of horses. My teaching style is kind, patient and to help and encourage each client to reach their own goals , gaining confidence and building their partnership with their horse.
