Security

At TallyHO Temps, your safety and privacy matter. Whether you're mucking out stables, helping in a tack shop, or managing admin remotely, here are some essential tips to help you stay safe when accepting jobs:

Check Out the Client or Business

Before agreeing to a job, take time to research the person or business offering it. Look for a website, social media presence, or reviews. If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts and report it to us.

Always Let Someone Know

Tell a trusted friend or family member what job you've accepted, where you’ll be, and when. It’s a simple but important way to stay safe—especially for in-person work.

Protect Your Personal Info

Never share sensitive personal information (like your home address, ID numbers, or banking details) directly with clients. All communication should go through the TallyHO Temps platform to keep you secure.

Don’t Share Your Phone Number Too Soon

Avoid giving out your mobile number until:

  • You've accepted the job
  • Payment from the client is confirmed and held securely in escrow

Until then, keep all communication on-platform.
